We have been most fortunate in discovering
a new lead in our ancestral historyt by
contacting Dr , David H ..Gibson (The University,
1039 l'Iassachusets Avenue, Cambridge 1 I,~ass.)
who is an acknowledged authority on Gibsonana
both in this country and abroad.
I inclose an
abstract of some data he has already furnished~
He promises to try to bridge the gap between
1607 and 1745 ,and perhaps our own enthusiastic
g:enealogist will join him in this fascinating
work.
