supplements your formal application and should include a personal statement that describes your rationale for
applying to SERM); (ii) two letters of reference, each from a person who is or has been your college/university
instructor or advisor, or employer, and each contained in a sealed and signed envelope addressed to the SERM
Board of Studies. A résumé may be included but is not required.
All students who are citizens of countries for which English is not an
official language must submit, in addition to the above, the following

Since all teaching will be in English, a high level of proficiency in the language is required. Minimum levels
required are as follows:
* TOEFL Computer Based 280; or
* TOEFL Paper Based 650; or
* IELTS 6.5; or
* Cambridge Proficiency Certificate at Grade C or better.
