BEAUTIFUL WEATHER FOR THE
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND MEANT
A
GOOD TURNOUT FOR THE PARADE
There were many activities and garage sales held over the
Memorial Day weekend, but the attendance at those events paled
in comparison to the people that supported the American Legion,
V.F.W., Fire and Police departments as they proudly marched
down Main Street to the music played by the Town of Webb
marching band.
Memorial Day is a day to reflect on those who have served our
country, but who are no longer with us. There were wreaths laid
at the school, Fire Hall, Legion and cemetery in honor of those
individuals. The parade always ends at Riverview Cemetery and
because of the beautiful weather, those who lined the streets also
made their way to the cemetery for the services that followed.
