The Tri-community outdoor pools are governed by the Tri-Community Pool Authority consisting of representatives from
Harborcreek, Lawrence Park and Wesleyville.
The Eastside YMCA does NOT own the Tri-Community outdoor pools.
A seasonal membership or daily admission fee is available to gain access to the pools.
Seasonal memberships are as follows:
Family Membership - $175.00
Youth Membership (0-17 yrs) - $60.00
Adult Membership (18yrs – 61 yrs) - $115.00
Senior Membership (62+ yrs) - $50.00
Daily Rates are as follows:
Daily Rate - $6.00 per person
Senior Daily Rate (62 yrs) - $3.50 per person
Four-Use Pass - $18.00
Group of 10 or more - $4.50 per person
Daily admission fees are non-refundable, regardless of weather. Everyone entering the pools must pay the daily rate, even
if you are not swimming. You must have your pool pass with you for admittance!

Please remember that if you purchased a Tri-Community pool membership or daily pass, this does not include access to the
Eastside YMCA.
The outdoor pool will not be opened until the air temperature is above 65 degrees. During adverse weather conditions or
poor attendance, pool supervisors reserve the right to close early. Please call ahead if in doubt.
15 minute adult lap swims are scheduled at 1:45 pm, 3, 4, 5 and 6 pm. Small pools will be open for parents and children
under the age of 6. Times may be added depending on weather conditions and attendance.
Children under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over) within arms reach while in the pools and on
the deck. Children ages 6, 7, and 8 must have an adult (18 or older) on Tri-Community property at all times.
The mushroom pool is restricted to children age five and under and must be with an adult at all times.
Pool passes, or daily admission passes are non-transferable. If caught in the possession of another person, all parties
concerned could lose privileges for the summer.
Lost pool passes must be replaced within one week and cost $5.00
Pool parties can be scheduled through the Aquatics Director. Large Pavilion Rental will be $50.00. Small Pavilion Rental will

TRI-COMMUNITY SAFETY RULES

The lifeguards are the authority in the pool area. Their responsibility is to constantly scan the pool to maintain
safety.

Persons with infections or contagious diseases are not permitted to enter the pools or whirlpool.
Showers are required before using pools to keep them free from body oils and cosmetics. Pollution of the pools is
prohibited. This includes spitting or discharge of bodily fluids.

All dangerous activities such as breath holding, prolonged underwater swimming, running, pushing, dunking,
sitting on shoulders, hanging on lane lines and playing on steps and ladders are forbidden. For your safety, jumps
are allowed from designated areas of the pools, feet first, facing toward the water; no twists, turns, flips,
somersaults, or belly flops.

Soft toys or light balls are permitted in the small pool only, however will not be prohibited during classes. All
items should be used properly and not interfere with other patrons activities.

It is required ALL swimmers wear swim suits No cut-off jeans or exercise clothes. Swim diapers must be worn
by infants and toddlers.

During open swim, parents are responsible for supervising their children. Children ages 5 and under will be
identified by wearing a red wristband provided by the front desk. All children wearing a red wrist band must be
accompanied by an adult in the water, within arm’s reach, at all times. *Adults sitting on the edge of the pool does
not count as participating/supervising their kids in the water. Children ages 6, 7, and 8 must have an adult in the
pool area. An adult is considered 18 years or older.

NON-SWIMMERS must remain in the shallow end of small pool. Water wings are not permitted in YMCA pool
but Lifejackets are available for non-swimmers with adult supervision. Adult ratio for the small pool is one adult
for two kids and adult ratio for the large pool is one adult for one kid. Anyone using a life jacket must be within
arm’s reach of parent or guardian at all times

Swimmers are required to pass a swim test before using the large water slide, diving board, or swim in deep end
of large pool. Swimmers will be tested during adult swim times. Adult swim times are held at, 1:45pm 3, 4, 5,
and 6pm

Diving is permitted in pools of 9 feet or more (from the diving board only.) Weight limit is 250lbs.

DIVING BOARD SAFETY RULES
o Divers must first pass swim test.
o Diving area must be clear of all swimmers before using the diving board.
o No twists, turns, flips, somersaults, or belly flops and no more than one bounce
o 250 lb. weight limit

SLIDE SAFETY RULES
o Riders must pass the deep water swim test
o Feet first only (may sit or lay on back)
o One at a time; wait until the previous slider is out of the roped area before next rider may use the slide
o NO zippers, buttons, jewelry. Keys may not be on arms or legs.
o NO floatation devices allowed. These include life preservers, and noodles.
o NO diving masks or swim goggles.
o NO catching children going down the slide.
o NO swimming in the slide area or hanging on the wall in slide area.

For the safety and enjoyment of all families and swimmers:
o NO alcohol, tobacco products or pets on the property.
o NO glass containers, charcoal or propane grills on the property.
o NO profane language at any time
