Law of the Twelve Tables
TABLE I
No FOOD, DRINKS (including bottled water) or GUM allowed in this room at any time.
TABLE II
You must be in YOUR SEAT when the bell rings or you are LATE…if you arrive after Tardy Guard has taken their seat it is an
automatic demerit. 1st period violators will report to the Assistant Principal Office.
TABLE III
No talking while someone else has the FLOOR…e.g. teacher, fellow student or intercom…this also goes for EXAMS or QUIZZES.
TABLE IV
DO NOT put your head on your desk or sleep during class.
TABLE V
Zero Nomadic Behavior…You & your desk will stay in the same spot for the entire period. DO NOT put your materials away until the
bell rings.
TABLE VI
NO electronic devices will be allowed at any point, this includes headphones. Items will be confiscated and sent to the office.
TABLE VII
Come to class everyday with your Textbook, Binder and proper supplies. DO NOT ask if you need them, just bring them. All bags
must stay on the floor for the duration of the period…you need only the supplies for the job at hand.
TABLE VIII
You are part of the classroom economy…do your part to ensure the success of all or face EXCOMMUNICATION.
TABLE IX
In order to leave the classroom at any point you must use a talent. In addition, you must fill out a pass that must be signed by Mr.
Bennett and someone at your destination …only exception to the first part is the Nurse. NO PASSES during lectures, quizzes, exams,
videos or when we have a sub.
TABLE X
If there is an issue that must be brought to the attention of Mr. Bennett do it in advance, not after the fact.
TABLE XI
DO NOT do work for another class during this class. I do not ask that you do work for this class in your other classes, so refrain from
doing another teacher’s assignments in here. Should you chose to do outside work, I will collect it and submit it for you to the
appropriate teacher.
TABLE XII
All other school rules apply…Respect your surroundings.
