They also learned more about the Pledge of Allegiance and what all of those fancy words really mean. We discussed what a constitution is and why it is important that we have one. We also created and signed our very own Classroom Constitution. We had a chance to work on one of these projects with th our 4 grade buddies from Mrs. Rose’s class. This is our second time meeting with our buddies. We will be doing activities once a month with them on Early Release days. The kids really seem to enjoy interacting with these older students We also completed both the Math and Reading MAP tests this week. These are long tests that require a lot of perseverance and I have to tell you how proud I am that the kids were able to focus and do their best work. I will be sharing these results with you at Parent/Teacher conferences in October. On Tuesday morning the kids will be taking both a vision and hearing test. You will be receiving a report that tells you if they have passed this screening, or if further examination is required.
