Trump International Beach Resort “Heirloom Recipe’s with a Twist” Competition Trump International Beach Resort OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS COMPETITION OVERVIEW • Trump International Beach Resort presents the “Heirloom Recipe’s with a Twist” Competition to showcase the culinary talents of its’ guests, fans and followers. Individuals may submit one original Family recipe in three (3) food categories to be reviewed by Trump International Beach Resort’s team of culinary experts. The top recipe in each respective category will be showcased at Trump International Beach Resort’s Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8, 2016. A Grand Prize Winner be chosen the day of the brunch by guests of the resort as well as Trump International Beach Resort’s Culinary Team and announced on May 11, 2016. WHO CAN ENTER? • Entrants must be 21 years of age or older. • No professional culinarians may enter. • No purchase is necessary to participate in the competition. • Entry constitutes certification that the entrant meets the eligibility requirements for the competition and that the recipe submitted upon entry meets the requirements set out in these rules. • Employees and the immediate family or those living in the same household as employees of Trump International Beach Resort, promotional licensees, prize providers, agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, owners and agents, are ineligible to enter. • Limit one entry per person. Additional entries will be disqualified. RECIPE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS • Each entrant may submit one (1) original, non-­‐trademarked recipe that must include the following: 1. Entrant name, address, phone number and email address 2. The category for your recipe (Appetizer, Main Dish, Dessert) 3. The original family recipe, including all ingredients, prep time, serving amount and detailed instructions. 4. The entrants’ additional Citrus “Twist” ingredient. 5. One photo of the prepared dish. Photos must be at least 718 x 581 6. A short note describing the special tradition or your fondest memory about the family recipe that was selected to use. Entries with missing elements and/or photos smaller than 718 x 581 will be disqualified. Deadline for all entries is April 15, 2016 at 5:00pm E.S.T. Entries can be submitted through Trump International Beach Resort’s “Heirloom Recipe’s with a Twist” Competition webpage (which can be found at www.TrumpMiami.com) Recipes can also be submitted by visiting Trump International Beach Resort’s Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/TrumpMiami). • Recipes that cannot be submitted digitally will be accepted via mail. Please send a typed version of your recipe including all the aforementioned information to: Trump International Beach Resort Heirloom Recipe with a Twist Recipe Competition, 18001 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160. All entries that are not submitted electronically must also include the following typed statement to be eligible for the contest: “This recipe is original to me, has not been previously published in print or online, and does not infringe on any third-­‐party rights. I am not a professional chef. I have read and agree to the Official Rules.” All entries submitted via mail must be postmarked by April 15th, 2016. The competition will allow entries to be submitted beginning on February 1, 2016 at 8:00 AM E.S.T. and ending at 5:00 PM E.S.T. on April 15, 2016. • No methods of entry other than the methods specifically described herein will be accepted. Trump International Beach Resort is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries or unsuccessful attempts to enter. Incomplete entries and/or entries not received by the deadline will not be eligible. • If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. • Recipe must be original to the entrant, not previously published in print or online, and must not infringe on any third-­‐party rights. It is acceptable for the recipe to appear on the entrants’ personal blog page or social media page. Any recipes that have been previously published anywhere other than the entrants’ own blog page or personal social media page will be disqualified. • Approved Citrus Fruits that may be added as the “Twist” to the original, non-­‐trademarked recipe include: Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Grapefruit Ruby Red Grapefruit, Key Lime, Bergamo, Orange, Pomelo, Bitter Orange, Tangerine, Kaffir Lime, Yuzu, Clementine, Citron, Satsuma Mandarin, Meyer Lemon, Blood Orange, Tangelo, Sweet Lemon, Rangpur, Persian Lime, Finger Lime, Oroblanco, Cara Cara Navel, Sudachi, Ponderosa Lemon, Kiyomi, Lyokan, Dessert Lime, Volkamer Lemon, Orangelo USE OF ENTRIES • All entries become the property of Trump International Beach Resort and will not be returned. • Recipes may be published by Trump International Beach Resort digitally and also in print format. • By entering, entrant gives Trump International Beach Resort, perpetual, transferable, sub-­‐
licensable, non-­‐revocable, royalty-­‐free license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, display, transmit, distribute and prepare derivative works of the recipe contained in his or her entry, in whole or in part, with entrant’s name, for any purpose, in any media and format, including editorial, advertising and promotional purposes without additional notice, approval, consent, compensation or attribution. JUDGING FOR CATEGORY WINNERS: • A panel of one (1) or more judges selected by Trump International Beach Resort will determine the following: Best Appetizer, Best Main Course, Best Dessert recipe. There will be one finalist selected in all Three (3) categories. These Three (3) finalists will be announced on May 2, 2016 and the recipes will be featured at the Trump International Beach Resort’s Mother’s Day Brunch on May 8th, 2016. JUDGING FOR GRAND PRIZE WINNER: • Photographs of all category finalists’ recipes will be posted on Trump International Beach Resort’s Facebook page. • A panel of one (1) or more judges selected by Trump International Beach Resort as well as guests of Trump International Beach Resort’s Mother’s Day Brunch will Vote on the Best Overall recipe out of all category Finalists featured at the Mother’s Day Brunch. • All attendees of Trump International Beach Resort’s Mother’s Day Brunch on May 8th, 2016 will have the ability to vote one time (per person) for their favorite overall “Citrus Twist” recipe. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on Trumpmiami.com and the Trump International Beach Resort Facebook Page on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. (One finalist recipe will be selected per category) Each Finalist will receive: • One (1) Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer • One (1) Embroidered Trump International Beach Resort Culinary Apron • One (1) Signature Chef recipe from Executive Chef Kurtis Jantz • Your recipe featured on Trumpmiami.com and Trump International Beach Resort’s Social Media Channels Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Category Prize: $500.00 Travel Credit Policy for Grand Prize Winner: To qualify for reimbursement of $600.00 Travel credit/reimbursement, the Grand Prize winner must: • Be a legal resident of the U.S., residing in the U.S. • Keep ORIGINAL RECEIPTS for airline tickets, shuttles, taxis, and airport parking. • All receipts must be in the Grand Prize Winners name only. Airline Costs: When purchasing airline tickets through a third party site (i.e. Orbitz, Expedia, etc.) be sure to print your receipt of payment, which lists your name and credit card payment. A confirmation email is not a receipt and will not qualify for reimbursement. Receipts for baggage fees are required for reimbursement. Mileage Costs: Mileage will be reimbursed for use of personal automobile for actual miles driven during travel. As of 1/1/16, the IRS mileage rate for travel reimbursement is 54.0 cents per mile. Gas receipts are not required. The travel credit can be used for one (1) trip towards services to include air and ground transportation. Expenses not specifically mentioned herein, including, but not limited to: additional hotel accommodations, facility amenities, meals, and gratuities are not included in the travel credit policy and are the responsibility of winner. Cash, gift cards, travelers' checks or similar cash equivalents will not be awarded. Winner may travel with one (1) travel companion or alone. Multiple travel companions during prize trip are not permitted. All expenses in excess of the travel credit are the responsibility of the winner and travel companion. If less than $600.00 of the travel credit is used, the balance will not be awarded. Travel must be completed within one (1) year of prize notification, or winner forfeits all rights to prize. GENERAL • All decisions of the judges and of Trump International Beach Resort are final. • No delay or failure on the part of the Trump International Beach Resort to enforce any provision of these Official Rules or any other right shall constitute a waiver. • By submitting an entry, the entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the Trump International Beach Resort’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the competition. • No compensation will be given with respect to a forfeited entry. • Trump International Beach Resort is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, illegible, misdirected or unsuccessful attempts to enter. • Trump International Beach Resort and its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, service providers or prize providers may use entrants’ personal information submitted with entry for purposes of prize fulfillment and/or for marketing, such as to notify entrants of a product or promotion that may be of interest to them. By entering, entrants consent to such use of their personal information. Information collected from those who enter online is also subject to the Trump International Beach Resort’s Privacy Policy. • Participation constitutes permission for the Trump International Beach Resort to use Winner’s, finalist’s and/or entrants name, photographs and other likenesses, and video material containing Winner’s, finalist’s and/or image and speech for any purpose, including editorial, advertising or promotional purposes, without additional notice, approval, consent or compensation, to the full extent permitted by law. • Florida law governs this competition. The competition is void where prohibited and outside the State of Florida and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. • If, for any reason, the competition is not capable of running as planned due to, without limitation, errors in these rules or advertising for the competition, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, human error or any other cause that, in the sole judgment of the Trump International Beach Resort, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Trump International Beach Resort reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. • By entering, the entrants agree at all times to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless Trump International Beach Resort, promotional licensees, prize providers, agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, directors, officers, owners, representatives, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, injuries, death, accidents, losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from any and all activity related to entering and/or participating in this competition or from the acceptance or use of any prize. The Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize (or any portion thereof), (ii) disclaim any implied warranty and (iii) will not be responsible for adverse weather conditions, acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppages or any other natural disasters outside their control that may affect the winners’ ability to use the prizes (or any portion thereof). No delay or failure on the part of the Trump International Beach Resort to enforce any provision of these Official Rules or any other right shall constitute a waiver.
