Some people believe holding on and hanging in

“Some people believe holding
on and hanging in there are
signs of great strength.
However, there are times when
it takes much more strength to
know when to let go and then
do it.” – Ann Landers
Letting go does not mean that we no longer
care about something. It's a necessary
process of adapting to life's ever-changing
realities. We need to accept the past and
leave it behind in order to make way for the
present. Denial only prolongs the inevitable.
Let go now and deal with it on your terms.

“If someone doesn't care to accept you,
respect you, believe in you, don't hesitate to
move on and let them go. There are many
who love and appreciate you just the way
you are.”

“Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go
but rather learning to start over.”
– Nicole Sobon

you no matter what occurred yesterday.”

“Even though you may want to move forward
in your life, you may have one foot on the
brakes. In order to be free, we must learn
how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the
fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The
energy it takes to hang onto the past is
holding you back from a new life. What is it
you would let go of today?”
– Mary Manin Morrisse

“You really don't have to burn any bridges to
let go… You don't have to destroy anything.
You can just decide to cross over and move
on.”
– Marta Mrotek
7.
“Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that
this very moment is the only one you know
you have for sure.”
– Oprah Winfrey
8.
“If you're still hanging onto a dead dream of
yesterday, laying owers on its grave by the
hour, you cannot be planting the seeds for
a new dream to grow today.”
– Joyce Chapman
9.
“Regret doesn't remind us that we did badly,
it reminds us that we know that we could do
better.”
– Kathryn Schultz
Here are my favourite quotes to inspire you to
let go, and grow.
Holding onto the past will continue to restrict
us from experiencing anything better in the
future. We need to let go, venture out and
shape new experiences. Even if it appears to
be a bit scary, we should not be afraid of
change. The pond of our past will not change,
but continuing to dwell in it will mean we
never get to realise the ocean full of life
awaiting us out there.
“Time is about the need to
control. Let go of control and
embrace what happens."
– Eve Best
10. “You can't move forward if you're still
hanging on.” – Sue Fitzmaurice
