Or Is it? Lab Reflection: Create a flow chart on a piece of large paper (large enough to be a poster) that would help someone determine if their specimen is living or nonliving. Be sure to include: A yes or no option for each question asked. At least 4 illustrations illustrating your poster. Examples of living and nonliving organisms, different from those seen in the lab activity. And… Be creative! Feel free to add humorous, but appropriate, responses, as well as different colors for each answer, decorations, etc. Brainstorm your flow chart here…. Imagine you have crash landed on an alien planet. You are trying to find a living organism to help you repair your ship so you can go home. However, you do not know which specimens you encounter are living or nonliving. The rules on this planet for determining if an organism is living or nonliving are extremely different from those on Earth. In fact, you decide you must come up with your own way of determining which specimens are alive or not. Create a list of 6 different questions and their answers to determine if the alien specimens you encounter are living or nonliving. Be as creative as you want but make sure to have an explanation for each yes or no answer. _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________
