Outdoor furniture to suit your space
Whether you have a sprawling garden or a small balcony – you can freely combine
pieces in the ÄNGSÖ outdoor furniture series to suit your space. A round or
rectangular table that seats four or a generous rectangular table that seats eight.
Then choose chairs with armrests, reclining chairs or benches with TÅSINGE cushions
and everyone will sit comfortably, well into the night. There’s also a storage bench for
hiding away cushions, lawn games or gardening supplies tools.
For a long life outdoors
To make our pine outdoor furniture as durable and resistant to decay as possible
we produce it from heartwood, which is the dense inner portion of the tree trunk.
All ÄNGSÖ pieces have also been pre-treated with several layers of wood stain to
protect the wood and prolong the time before re-staining is required. With proper
care and simple regular maintenance, like re-staining, you can extend the life of
your outdoor furniture. How often you need to re-stain depends on location, usage
and exposure to sun, rain and the elements.

COMBINATIONS
Round table seats four. A round table is very sociable
since nobody gets seated at the end, and everyone can
easily reach the food. Stackable armchairs make it easy to
store away.

PROTECTING AND CARING FOR ÄNGSÖ
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors
unprotected more than necessary and to re-stain it on a regular basis.
Cleaning
Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild
soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean and dry cloth.
Maintenance
To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking and
moisture from penetrating into the wood we recommend
you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example
once a year. How often you will need to do this will depend
on how exposed the furniture is to the elements.
For furniture that stands in the open air, a good indication
that you need to re-stain is if raindrops are absorbed
directly into the wood and no longer form small beads on
the surface.

Storing
If possible, store your outdoor furniture in a cool and dry
place indoors. If the furniture is left outdoors, make sure
to protect it with a waterproof cover and if possible tilt the
furniture to make it easier for any water to drain away.
After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from
flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate, to avoid condensation.
VÅRDA wood stain
To add shine and protection but no colour we recommend
colourless VÅRDA wood stain.
