and Tent Setup 1. Remove tent roll from compression sack. Untie bow. Set aside rain fly, stakes, and poles. 2. Unroll tent. Lay out with mesh side up. 3. Remove poles and unwind. 4. Feed two poles across tent through nylon covers (for Scorpion, through plastic hooks). 5. Snap all fastening hooks to poles. 1 and 6. (Recluse) Feed third pole through hooks, crossing the other two poles, either above or below other two. 7. One pole at a time, insert end pieces into receptacle bezel, push pole further up and bend until you can fasten the other end into its receptacle. (Recluse) Crisscross the two sleeved-poles at ends to ensure correct placement. On single cross-pole, make sure the center hook is attached. 2 and 8. Install gear loft inside tent by attaching hooks to loops above on four corners of tent ceiling. 9. Remove stakes from pouch, insert through loops on tent corners and drive into ground at an angle. Rain Fly 1. Drape rain fly over tent with Ledge Logo and ropes facing outward. On the four corners, fasten the rain fly buckles to receptacles located on tent pole fasteners. Tighten as necessary to align rainfly seams with underlying poles. 3 and 2. Extend vestibules, stake looped-corners to the ground. Locate red guy lines on sides and stake to ground for added stability. Take Down Instructions 1. Remove all stakes and store in pouch. 2. Unclip rain fly and remove from tent. With outside of rain fly facing up, fold outer corners inward and fold in half until it is a manageable size, as shown. 4 and 3. Remove support poles from corner posts and release hooks from poles. 4. Wind up and fold poles. Store in storage bag. 5. Spread out tent. Fold outside corners into center. 5 and Fold in half again. 6
