New form of life created. By the end many animals lived all over Earth. Dark blue due to exciting new forms of life still in the water. 2. Mesozoic Era - means “middle life” - called age of reptiles. Dinosaurs and other reptiles dominated the land. Life began to move. Color this era brown because the land was baren and the color of the reptiles. 3. Cenozoic Era - means “new life” - dominance passed to the mammals and birds, warm blooded. Color this era green due to the first grasses appearing on earth.
