Roughly the size of Rhode Island, Volusia County is about 50 miles northeast of Orlando, 60 miles north of Kennedy Space Center, and 90 miles south of Jacksonville. DeLand is the picturesque county seat of Volusia, and Daytona Beach is one of its best known cities.
