Volusia map and population projections
Volusia County demographics
Volusia County, Florida, is bordered on the west by historic St. Johns
River, and by the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Roughly the size of Rhode
Island, Volusia County is about 50 miles northeast of Orlando, 60 miles
north of Kennedy Space Center, and 90 miles south of Jacksonville.
DeLand is the picturesque county seat of Volusia, and Daytona Beach is
one of its best known cities.
