The Property Appraiser’s Office (PAO) analyzes data to verify the reasonableness of the DOR tables. PAO maintains the acquisition year and the year the asset was removed. • By account, • By each asset on the account Lump Sum vs. Individual Listing • Categorizing Equipment PAO prepares a spreadsheet that has a column for the asset schedule and the age at retirement. A summary table is prepared with the asset schedule, and the average, median, minimum, and maximum age at retirement. The PAO concludes that the table is generally reasonable. PAO estimates the value of businesses that • have not filed • appear to be under reporting PAO maintains the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number on each account.
