Federal share may exceed 80%. ADA project 90/10 for vehicle related
equipment or facilities or to those projects that provide access for bicycles to
pubic transportation facilities to provide shelters and parking facilities for
bicycles in or around pubic transportation facilities or to install equipment for
transporting bicycles on public transportation vehicles.
This year FTA will also consider expansion request for bus maintenance
facilities and/or new equipment requests to the extent the expansion or
equipment is necessary to address current capacity constraints that are
limiting the agency’s ability to maintain vehicles and equipment in state of
good repair. Funds are NOT eligible for operating expenses, preventative
maintenance or any other expanded capital eligibility items.

Transit Asset Management systems – there are some TAM functionalities
being built into ITRIPS. If there is enough interest in solutions that track the
maintenance condition of vehicles for various providers, is this a topic that
would benefit from a statewide approach? – John K. can comment

– Letters of Support, I think this is really important to talk about. I believe all
the support letters your group pulled together for the VTCLI application really
helped in being successful. We should also describe that consolidation of
applications equates to a stronger message of support and collaboration.

If applicants are in an MPO area, we want to encourage them to inform and
discuss their projects with their MPO. If they are planning a facilities project
that is on the State Highway System, they should visit and discuss with their
ITD District Office.

should be cash match.

The VTCLI information will be posted on I-way next week. Potential projects include
requesting outreach dollars for promoting the one
one-call/one-click
call/one click that have been implemented

and potentially an app that service agencies and families of veterans can use to access the
provider directory that is being improved with round 1.
