During baby’s first months, the affective relationship between
mother and child is also communicated through bathing. Caresses, cuddles and playing with water all help the child to
grow and develop his or her affective side. In order to make
bathing your child practical and comfortable, you may need
no more than three accessories: an ergonomic bathtub, a
changing mat, where you can dry and change your baby, and
a temperature indicator for checking the temperature of the
bath water.

Safety First

Before bathing your baby, warm the room
properly (around 25°-26°C) and ensure the
tub is resting on a flat, stable and safe surface. Fill the tub up to the level, around 7 cm
from the bottom and check that the bath
water is at the right temperature (36°-37°C).
