The machine is designed to work completely independently so that employees are only needed to provide the raw material, blank logs for it and at the other end of the line to package the final products. Corner joint notching, T-batten notching, cutting, door and window hole cutting, angle beveling and even labeling of the logs all take place inside one integrated machining unit. All operations are measured using very accurate pushing advancer. The blank log is not being removed between procedures which ensures excellent measurement precision. Cross notch HRP-Logwork is able to machine rectangular and round logs as well as their variations like Dprofile logs. All cutting routes and parameters adjust according to the log profile and size. There is no limit for the minimum size or length of the log and even the maximum size 250mm (w) x 280mm (h) x 12m (l) may be enlarged by customizing the design to meet the client's needs. Cross joint The amount of waste pieces is optimized to be as small as possible. All the logs brought to the automatic feeding table are included in the calculations as software solves what is the most economic order to manufacture the logs. Saddle notch Saddle joint Computer software for HRP-Logwork is supplied by Vertex Systems Oy, one of the biggest software engineering companies in Finland. The software reads directly files created by Vertex's own designing software, but support for other design software formats can be created when needed. Cooperation with Vertex guarantees support and software updates for our clients also in future. Features briefly: • Low space requirement due very compact design • Capacity with two employees 100–120m per hour in basic machining • Machining round and rectangular log and their variations • Maximum size of the log 250mm (w) x 280mm (h) x 12m (l) • Even very short logs can be manufactured because the cutting is performed as the very last operation Cornerless joint • Eight independent drills, capable of drilling through or only half way the log, from above or below • Notching for windows and doors. Angle beveling ±90° • Easy setup, monitoring and reporting with Vertex programs • Effective optimization ensures low amount of waste pieces. All logs in the feeding table are included in the calculations. • Automatic measurement of the blank log. • Removal of faulty parts of the log. • Sticker printer or automatic inkjet printer for labeling the logs T-joint and decorative beveled joint Test corners: Cornerless joint Hietarannan Paja Ay Hietarannantie 164 63355 Seinäjärvi Alavus, FINLAND Decorative beveled joint, also Saddle joint and T-joint batten notching and drilling Joining thinner log to a thicker one with T-joint Phone: +358 6 514 4792 Fax: +358 6 335 4791 [email protected] http://www.kuusnetikka.fi/hrp Optimization and user interface Vertex LogWork Controller • Adjusting measurement data and notching settings • Monitoring the machine • Optimizing the usage of log • Reporting daily work • Distributing finished logs to different packaging sites • Controlling sticker and inkjet printing Blade settings and route adjustments Vertex G4 • Editing existing machining routes and creating new ones • Saving these routes to LogWork Controller • 3D CAD drawing Pushing advancer feeds the blank logs into the machining unit and measures the place for each operation with extreme precision. We also manufacture these advancers to be added to other log machining tools to improve their measurement precision and help handling the logs.
