Please follow the directions below in creating your portfolio. Your project should be completed on paper given to you in class, one construction per page, and bound. o Do not erase construction markings. o Constructions should be accurate. Part I: Page 1. The rubric. Part II: Page 2-12. Use a pencil, compass, and a straightedge to create each of the 11 given constructions. One copy will be provided to you in class. If you need additional copies, they will be posted on the teacher website for you to print for yourself. Part III: Page 13. Create your own drawing (image, character, picture, or abstract) using only a pencil, compass, and straightedge. Part IV: Page 14-20. Attach your completed worksheets that we have done in class. (7 total). Optional Bonus: Page 21. Inscribe a circle in a triangle. Assessment of the portfolio: The portfolio will count as 100 points. Your completed project will be evaluated on the following criteria: Accuracy—All lines must be carefully drawn with a pencil using only a compass and a straightedge. There should be no freehand drawing. Neatness—Attend to the look and neatness of the designs is important. Effort—The more detailed, planned, the better! Meeting Deadlines/Following Directions—The project must satisfy the above expectations and be completed on time. Presentation—The 11 constructions should be on separate pages and bound.
