N3 - Johannesburg to Durban
After the Tugela Toll take exit Ladysmith/Bergville, turn left towards Ladysmith. 4km and turn right onto the R600 Winterton, past Spionkop
Dam. At T junction turn left towards Winterton, about 1km and turn right (opposite Engen Garage and Spar) back onto R600 Central
Drakensberg. 15km to Stop Street with Thokisiza Centre on the left.
**Cross straight over and continue for 12km. Pass Champagne Sports Resort on your left hand side. You will notice Cathkin Cottage signs along
the way. After the small low level bridge take the next road right - sign posted the Drakensberg Sun Resort/Bergview/Cathkin Cottage. Travel
approx. 4km. The Drakensberg Sun Resort is on your right hand side. Continue straight on and tell security at the 'boom' that you are going to
No, l Yellowwood Drive. Turn left at the small circle, into Yellowwood Drive. Cathkin Cottage is the first house on your left hand side.
IF YOU MISS THE ABOVE LADYSMITH/BERGVILLE OFF RAMP proceed straight and before Estcourt, take exit R194 (avoid exit 207 as it is
partially graveled), onto the R74 Colenso/Bergville, turn right to Bergville/Winterton. It is approx. 22kms to WINTERTON. In Winterton,
opposite the Engen Garage, turn left onto the R600 and continue on this road until you reach the Thokozisa Centre at the cross road.

The OLIVIERSHOEK PASS / Sterkfontein Road / R77 to Bergville & Winterton has been reopened and this alternative route will save a little
time, but more importantly is very scenic. This route is from Harrismith.

Proceed on the N3 to Estcourt passing the Midway Garage Stop on the left-hand side. Continue and take Exit 179 / Estcourt North. Turn left
and follow the Loskop sign. Continue on this road for approx. 31kms to a crossroad at Thokozisa Centre (ahead becomes a dirt road). Turn left
onto R600.
Continue for 12km. Pass Champagne Sports Resort on your left hand side. You will notice Cathkin Cottage B&B signs along the way. After the
small low level bridge take the next road right - sign posted the Drakensberg Sun Resort/Bergview/Cathkin Cottage. Travel approx. 4km. The
