Dermacell is a technologically advanced human
acellular dermal matrix (hADM). Dermacell is
decellularized using Matracell®, a proprietary
and patented technology that removes ≥ 97% of
donor DNA without compromising the desired
biomechanical or biochemical properties
of the graft, and allows for rapid cellular
infiltration and re-vascularization. Dermacell
is ready to use out of the package and stored
at room temperature, eliminating the need for
refrigeration and rehydrating processes. As a
final step, all Dermacell grafts are terminally
sterilized - rendering the graft sterile to
medical device-grade standards with a Sterility
Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6.
