PROCEDURE FLOWCHART HOW TO CREATE AN EVENT Creating an Event Are you an admin of your organization ? no You cannot create events Contact the admin of that org to create an event Select "Events" then "Create Event" from the admin toolbar Enter your organization's portal Begin to fill out the form to create the event Be careful which event type you select. Once entered, event type cannot be changed yes Is this a one time event? no Does the duration span multiple days? Does this happen specific days every week or month? no yes yes yes Volunteer Opportunity > Single Day Volunteer Opportunity > Multi-Day Volunteer Opportunity > Recurring Does this have multiple random dates? Are there no particular dates or durations? This allows participants to sign up for shifts PROCEDURE FLOWCHART HOW TO CREATE IMPACTS Access your organization Click on "Dashboard" in the top Left Click on "Add Impact" in the top Right Do you see the organization or event you are tracking with? yes Enter verifier, date of impact, hours, and reflection no Click the Georgia College homepage link in top Left Click "Add Impact Here" left of the group name Verifier must be a president, service chair, or organizer of an event Track with RSO Click "Save Impact" Track with Community Partner Click "Subgroups" On the menu bar under the banner Click "Affiliate" On the menu bar under the banner Search for your group Click on group name You may share this impact with any groups of your choosing PROCEDURE FLOWCHART HOW TO JOIN GROUPS Access Georgia College main page by clicking on GC link in the top left Click the name of the organization Select the "Subgroups" tab from the available menu bar yes Type in the full name of the organization. Did you find the organization? This is the name that is on the organization's reregistration form Look through the subgroups to find the organization Once on the organization's page, click the "Join" Button on the right side This allows you to see more of their events and track impacts directly with them no Click the next join confirmation button that appears You are now a member of the Organization on GivePulse Do not create a new organization Send an email to [email protected] to add this org to GivePulse PROCEDURE FLOWCHART HOW TO VERIFY IMPACTS Did you get an email to approve this impact? Volunteer has tracked Impact in GivePulse Are you listed as the verifier? no yes yes Inside your organization, click the "Impacts" Tab on the Admin Toolbar no Are you an admin of this organization? Do not verify this impact no You must be listed as the verifier to approve the impact Contact the organization admin to have them approve the impact You will only get an email notification of impacts you are lised on Select "Verify Impact" Follow instructions given in the email yes Select "Manage Impacts" Click on the "verified=no" link to only see impacts that have not been verified Find the impact that you want to approve Click the "Actions" Dropdown of the impact you are verifying
