of lysate on a Direct Detect™ Assay-free Card and
inserting into the instrument. BugBuster® reagent

Benzonase® is the FDA-approved endonuclease
of choice, more efficient than DNase I or any other
nuclease on the market. Benzonase® nuclease
eliminates all nucleic acids — single-stranded,
double-stranded, circular or linear.
BugBuster® protein extraction reagent is a
detergent mix capable of perforating bacterial cell
membranes without denaturing soluble proteins.
rLysozyme™ solution is a highly purified recombinant
lysozyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of N-acetylmuramide linkages in bacterial cell walls. rLysozyme’s™
lysis activity on E. coli cell membranes is 250 times
greater than that of chicken egg white lysozyme!
