PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS
Majestic Holland b.v. started as a part of the family firm Van der Glas in 1921 in the old centre
of Heerenveen in the north part of the Netherlands. They started with selling organs, pianos
and wind instruments, but the percussion instruments soon followed. In the nineteen-sixties the
’MAJESTIC’ brand name was introduced for these percussion instruments. At that time the drum
sets were particularly popular, and many pop groups in the Netherlands and other countries used
them. Even then the production of percussion instruments for orchestras and marching bands
was the most important part of the company’s activities. Over the last thirty years they continued
to specialize in this area, with the result that MAJESTIC percussion instruments are now being
played with great enthousiasm in all four corners of the world.

Our exclusive support posts connect the tube to the shell, providing maximum stability while transmitting more vibration from the top
casting down to the bottom of the shell.

The Majestic Hybrid Tension (HT) snare drum combines
the traditional design and functionality of a conventional
marching snare drum with the ability to support high
tension tuning. The crossover from traditional European
sounds up to the high tension American
rudimental sound is all possible using traditional
drumheads and steel wire cable to kevlar
heads with gut snare or mixed combinations.
Thinner shell provides higher mobility when
performing, marching, or during practice.
Can be used as strap style with leg support
or carrier style.

The XTD Multi-Toms feature interior plys of walnut for a superior warmth that results in better projection of tone and pitch. The shell
combines with the deep progressive cut to produce a loud, full and dark overall sound that doesn’t get choked at high tension. The
lightweight aluminium tube style lug minimizes hardware-to-shell contact and creates an overall appearance that compliments the
XTD snare drums and bass drums.

The XTD Multi-Toms series offers three unique straight cut shot drum sizes to suit different configurations.The
XQC68023 quints employ the 6" x 6" to match the brighter overall timbre, while the XQC60234 set utilizes the 6"
x 8" to match the darker tone characteristic of the larger shells. Sextets with two 6" toms are equipped with one
each 6" x 6" and 6"x 8".The XQC680234 sextet uses the 6" x 6" and 8" x 6" for maximum pitch differentiation.

The XTD bass drums represent a significant advancement in the evolution of the marching instrument. A lightweight contemporary tube
lug ensures the best possible alignment of tension rods and keeps tuning stress off the shell. Minimal hardware-to-shell contact allows
the drum to resonate to its fullest potential. Progressive air holes venting creates a more consistent sound and feel throughout the bass
ensemble. XTD bass drums utilize chambered aluminium hoops that are precision crafted at the bicycle factory, longtime experts in
lightweight strength. This eliminates the need for additional rim protection and provides superior overall strength while maintaining
classic styling and sufficient tuning flexibility.

The Accessory Mounting Bracket securely mounts to the rim of any free-floating drum and had been

premium on durability and high performance yet requiring moderate weight. The one-piece
die-cast aluminium lugs are designed to maintain tuning integrity even under the demands of

Endeavor Multi-Toms offer the warmth of Birch/Maple mediumshallow shells.The soundprojection of the especially cutaway
design and the manageable weight are the main features of these
instruments. Equipped with 1.6 mm steel hoops. Hardware can be

Endeavor marching snare drums are also available with aluminum kettles. When the weight of the 7.2 mm maple kettle of the Endeavor
marching snare drum is a problem for the marching drummer, but the high quality of Majestic is preferred there is a solution now: the
availability of Endeavor marching snare drums with aluminum kettles. The 1.5 mm aluminum kettle is light weighted but still very strong
because of the use of a folded edge rim on both sides of the kettle. The aluminum kettle in combination with the famous Majestic
parallel snare mechanism results in a light weight drum with an open and bright sound. Standard available in white epoxy coated kettle
with chrome or black hardware. Custom coloured kettles and hardware is available on special request.
Specially designed for English style Military Bands
The Endeavor 9000 series snare drum combines the
traditional design with 12 lugs and aluminum stress rings. It
guarantees the special sound needed for this type of playing.

13”x3.5” and standard equipped with a multi-angle carrying bar and leg rest
makes this instrument the perfect drum for the very young marching drummers
and is also very suitable for educational purposes. As a feature this drum is also
available with a special for children developed comfortable leg rest and even is
available with a back pack. Advantage of the back pack, with reflectors, is first
the safety of the children when travelling and secondly it will help to prevent
damaging the drum.

The Majestic Contender Series was designed as a lightweight and affordable option for light duty marching
applications. They feature select basswood/maple shells and include Remo drumheads. This results in a
sound that is pleasantly warm, with plenty of volume and projection. All Contender Series hardware is of
simple, time-tested design for reliable performance and ease of maintenance. The die-cast zinc alloy lugs
are light and strong for stable tuning and dependability of performance.
Contender Snare Drums
The Contender snare drum is available in a variety of sizes to
accommodate a wide range of applications and sound preferences.
Whether used for the very youngest players, casual adult ensembles
or anything in between there is a Contender snare that will be a perfect
fit. They utilize standard crimped wire snare and a simple traditional
throw off for reliable performance and easy Snare replacement.

Contender multi-toms
Contender marching multi-toms sets are available in both trio and
quad configurations in a medium-shallow shell depth that strikes a
balance between weight and tone. Both trio and quad sets include
mounting bar with universal j-hook receivers for use with a carrier.
The cutaway shell design produces maximum forward projection
of tone and the 1.5 Mm hoops and die-cast zinc alloy lugs provide
tuning stability and strength.
