At the Lambton Worm Sonnet 43 Brew Pub
and Restaurant we can guarantee you a warm
welcome, friendly and relaxed service and
the very best of traditional British food
– but with some unique twists which you’re
unlikely to find anywhere else. We’re not
only passionate about drinking and eating but
we’re also extremely particular about where
our ingredients come from which is why you’ll
find that we source our produce from farmers
and suppliers on our doorstep. Good honest
food that makes your heart sing is what we’re
all about – whether it’s our mouthwatering
hearty pies or succulent seafood prepared in
a whole host imaginative ways.
Sonnet 43 Brew House is our craft brewery based in
Coxhoe, birthplace of 19th Century poet Elizabeth
Barrett Browning from whose best known work, which
features the well-known line ‘How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways’, we derived both our name and
brewing ethos. We took the love she described and
interpreted our way - craft beer. Every drop is crafted
with care and attention to ensure the best flavour.
