Styrofoam Critters
Check list:
1. styrofoam balls – various sizes
2. toothpicks
3. paperclips
4. fun foam
5. a pencil
6. scissors
7. crayons, markers or paints

Break a toothpick in half and
stick the thickest end in the
large ball and then attach the
small ball to the other end of
the toothpick. This will hold the
two balls together.

Use the pencil to mark where
you want the ears to go. Poke the
pencil through the styrofoam to
make a deep, single line in the ball.

Cut two small pieces of fun foam
to make ears for your critter.

Be creative and draw a face. You
can be as wacky as you want!
Insert the ears into the slots.

To create arms and legs simply
unbend the paperclips and poke
them into place!

Artzooka your critter with paints,
markers, glitter – anything!
You can make a bunch of different critters
and decorate them any way you want!
