Anaphase
A
Interphase - Chromosomes replicate and pair up as chromatids (original cell (2 chromosomes) →
2 pair (4 chromosomes)).
B
Prophase - Sister chromatids condense, thicken and become visible, nuclear envelope disappears.
C
Metaphase - Chromatids move toward center of cell and line up at equator, spindle fibers attach to
centromeres.
D
Anaphase - Centromeres of each chromatid separate and are pulled toward poles of cell (2 chromosomes to each cell).
E
Early Telophase - Nuclear envelope reforms around chromosomes, cell membrane furrows.
F
Late Telophase - Cytokinesis takes place forming daughter cells.
