were required to be independent investment advisers registered with the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission and to have at least $300 million in
AUM. Applicants were then graded on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate;
years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm’s advisors; online
accessibility; and compliance records.
