Vocabulary: array factor times multiplication multiply equal groups product repeated addition quotient dividend divisor unknown factor commutative associative distributive Comparative & Superlative Adjectives: Comparative Adjectives compare two nouns. Superlative Adjectives compare three or more nouns. Vocabulary Words: tropical - hot part of the world, near the equator hatchlings - offspring that has recently hatched from an egg ventured - to take a risk in order to achieve a goal frantic - wild, hysterical plummeting - falling Rules for Forming Comparative & Superlative Adjectives double the final consonant and add the suffix (thin, thinner, thinnest; mad, madder, maddest) drop the e and add the vowel suffix (nice, nicer, nicest; brave, braver, bravest) consonant y, change the y to I and add suffix (curly, curlier, curliest; happy, happier, happiest) Students must know the rules & be able to change singular nouns to their plural form.
