Operation: Military Kids is a collaborative effort with Kentucky's communities to support
military children, youth and families impacted before, during, and after deployment. OMK
provides support to military families who are geographically dispersed, recognizing that
these families have significantly different needs than those families on active military
installations
Camp Mariposa® is a free, weekend overnight camp program that supports children are
impacted by substance abuse in their families. For many of our campers, one or both
parents struggles with a substance use disorder. Camp Mariposa gives these children the
knowledge, tools, and coping skills to prevent them from developing an addiction of their
own and to help break the intergenerational cycle of addiction. The Moyer Foundation
partners with accredited mental health and youth-serving organizations to facilitate Camp
Mariposa in communities across the country. Camps are held every other month and
children are encouraged to attend multiple times.
With 46 camps nationwide, Camp Erin is the largest network of free bereavement camps
in the country. Created by The Moyer Foundation in 2002, Camp Erin is designed for
children and teens ages 6-17 who are grieving the loss of someone close to them. Camp

support
