Amy, with a BS, MS, and PhD from MIT, researches
engineering education and the development of technologies
that can benefit under-served populations worldwide. She
will share with us some of her work on campus and during
Wintersession trips with her students to Nicaragua.

’03 explained STEM opportunities at Wellesley to eager middle school students who visited their table
as part of a program for young girls interested in science, tech, engineering or math. The day-long
event at Hawaii Pacific University in Kaneohe on May 21, was sponsored by the AAUW.
