APPLICATION
Used for fastening both plastic and metal elevator buckets.
OVERVIEW
The fanged elevator bolt is characterized by two sharp teeth
that are intended to penetrate the carcass of the elevator belt.
Once the teeth penetrate the belt, they help keep the bolt from
spinning which easily allows the lock nut to be tightened.

Install fanged bolts with fang tips in-line across the
width of the belt (Image E). Placing the fangs in such
a manner minimizes stresses caused by the flat head
going around the curved pulley.
