Farewell Message from Principal Chan At the close of my year as the Principal of King’s College, I find myself filled with a combination of nostalgia and gratitude. The past 6 years has been challenging and yet extremely rewarding. Together, we celebrated the 85th and 90th Anniversaries of King’s College, witnessed the declaration of King’s College as a declared monument and the inauguration of King’s College Education Foundation, and pioneered the Job Shadow Programme and the Mentorship Programme. The tremendous success of these programmes and events would not have been possible without the continued trust, unfailing support and enormous encouragement of our alumni. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the alumni for the confidence that you have placed on me, and for all you have done and will continue to do in support of our students. I am truly honoured and pleased to have served as the Principal of King’s College. I believe my retirement does not mark the end of my association with King’s College, but the dawning of a new relationship and one that will last for a lifetime!
