3 0 5 0 S Q U A R E / R E C TA N G U L A R TA B L E
The legs of this table series are made of
tubular steel, and are attached to the table
top either through brackets or through
screwed-on plates. The square and rectan­
gular table tops are available in a multitude
of ­sizes. Linking tops can be used to link a
set of tables together to build large-sized
configurations.
3 0 6 0 R O U N D TA B L E
The round table tops are available in six
­different sizes, supported by the legs either
through brackets or screwed-on plates.
The optionally available height adjustable
glides ensure that these tables remain
stable in every room and on every floor.
3 0 7 5 T R A P E Z O I D TA B L E
The trapezoid tables are also available with
either brackets or screwed-on plates. Its
­special shape is ideally suited to be mixed
and matched with the aim of creating a
­multitude of configurations. The table top
­sizes are adjusted to the other tables across
this series.

This variation with brackets features a cut-out
across one long side of the rectangular tables,
offering the best possible comfort to corpulent
persons while they are sitting, working or
eating. Upon request available with two
­concealed castors incorporated in the legs,
­making it easier to move the table towards
the seated person.

FIRE PREVENTION
Depending on the environment, contract
seating has to be able to fulfil very specific
requirements. Interior designers and planners
sometimes have to clear difficult hurdles:
such as exacting fire prevention and hygiene
regulations, not forgetting seating suited for
obese patients or for people with reduced
mobility. Kusch+Co has worked out individual
solutions:
WO O D E N PA R T S
As standard, high-grade wooden veneer
­finishes and high-grade wooden lippings are
protected by a UV curing, ­environmentally
harmless, water-based ­lacquer meeting all
the requirements of "low flammability" acc. to
DIN EN 13501 C s2 d0.
TA B L E TO P S
Table tops with a 3-layered chipboard core,
and featuring either a HPL or real wood
veneer surface are also available in a flame
retardant finish.

HYGIENE
Products from the kuschmed® Hygienic-Line
provide an unfavourable breeding ground
for bacteria, germs, and mildew. For this
­purpose, this range is conceived without
open-pored veneers, finger traps, felt glides,
or materials that degrade upon contact with
disinfectants.
The surfaces have to be smooth and porefree, impervious to liquids and germs, and
growth-inhibiting for bacteria. All wooden
surfaces are entirely sealed with a special
high-density, pore-free and disinfectant-­
resistant lacquer with antibacterial properties.
Metal surfaces are sealed with a chrome
finish or with a silver-bearing, antibacterial
powder coating. The silver ions within the
coating are acti­vated upon contact with
bacterial colonies, diffusing at the surface,
denaturating the cell walls of the bacteria,
and thus inhibiting their growth.
B A R I AT R I C S E A T I N G
There has been a rapid, global increase in
obesity. People are not only growing taller, a
rising number of people have become overweight to obese. Due to this sharp increase
in obesity, the demand for appropriate seating
and tables adapted to the needs of overweight
persons is growing in many facilities. This
type of furniture has to meet a set of specific
requirements in order to accommodate overweight persons and offer them a comfortable
seat.
The table series 3050 features a table with
milled cut-out on the long side, enabling
­corpulent persons to comfortably sit at the
table, eat, or work. Upon request available
with two concealed castors incorporated in
the legs, making it easier to move the table
towards the chair.
REDUCED MOBILITY
Many people experience mobility difficulties,
among them are senior citizens, pregnant
women, persons of short stature, as well as
persons with an individual disability. Sitting
can be quite a hurdle, as they may have
difficulties in taking a seat or getting up from
normal seating. In this case, the standard
seat height of 42 or 45 cm is usually too low.
Apart from the standard-issue frame height,
the table variations with screwed-on plates
of the series 3050 are available with a custom
frame height up to and including +10 cm.
As a result, these tables are a perfect match
for seating with a higher seat height.

Our environmental and quality management
systems are certified acc. to DIN EN ISO 14001
and to DIN EN ISO 9001. External audits as
well as our in-house laboratory safeguard our
quality level.
The tables of series 3050 meet the requirements with regard to stability, static and
­dynamic load as well as strength and dura­
bility in compliance with the current European
Directives, standards and regulations.
On top of this, we voluntarily test the strength
of our table frames with an additional horizontal
load test using higher weights and more test
cycles.
The components are all fitted, tested, labelled,
and documented by skilled and trained personnel.
Kusch+Co products stand for long life cycles
and optimum recyclability. From the first
design drafts of a new product, we take all
environmental-relevant components and
production processes into consideration,
ranging from the materials selection and the
design all the way to the manufacturing
processes which also contribute towards
our sustainable energy balance.
In our capacity as a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified
company, we are authorised to test in our own
laboratory whether our products meet the GS
requirements for Tested Product Safety and
issue a Declaration of Conformity equivalent
to a GS sign.

The powder coating is free from
volatile organic compounds
(VOC) and heavy metals and
therefore physiologically harm­
less. Our chrome­plating finish
excels in corrosion protection
and is physiologically harmless
during the production and the
service life of series 3050. We
do not use perfluorinated sur­
factants (PFS) for our chrome­
plating, as these surfactants are
suspected of being carcinogenic.
• The models of series 3050 are
free from hazardous materials
(lead, mercury, PVC).
• All components of series 3050
comply with the legal PAH stan­
dards.
• All plastic parts are labelled
properly for recycling.
• The used chipboards meet the
criteria of emission class E1.
• All wood products originate
from sustainable, legal and
verified sources.
• Series 3050 contains no
substances included on the
candidate list for authorisation
according to § 57 of Regulation
(EC) No 1907/2006 ("REACH")

In order to guarantee a constant
high­level product quality,
Kusch+Co is certified in accor­
dance with the quality manage­

O N WOO D
Through the use of UV­curing
water­based lacquers in conjunc­
tion with a new lacquering line
featuring a paint­spray robot with
electrostatic spraying guns (since
April 2014), we were able to
reduce the overspray to an abso­
lute minimum. On top of this,
our paint­spray cabins have been
retrofitted with a dry filtration
system, replacing the wet extrac­
tion system, and saving energy
and water. The dry filter achieves
the best possible result in col­
lecting the overspray, which can
be treated like regular household
waste when dried. The used
UV­curing, water­based lacquers
are exempt of PAHs and any
other harmful substances.
• WAST E M A N AG E M E N T
All types of process waste (fabric
remnants, foam, metal tubes)
are collected by professional
waste processing companies
and 100 % recycled. All wood
residues, resulting from wood­
working, are used to heat the
factory, saving precious heating
oil.

• The transportation energy
is offset by the spacesaving
packaging.
• The packaging material is reused
before it is recycled.
• Kusch+Co’s dual disposal system
is certified by Interseroh. Approx­
