P. 4 ● What’s FRESH this season! P. 7 ● AND MORE!!! Page 2 Welcome to the 2006 Mason County Farm Map How to Use The Map The Mason County Farm Map is designed to provide residents and visitors with a comprehensive look at agricultural products in Mason County. It provides a link to Mason County farms that sell their goods directly to the consumer. Keep it in your kitchen, your glove compartment, or anywhere that’s handy—and be sure to tell farms that you saw them in the Farm Map!! • If you are looking for a certain product (i.e. Christmas Trees), turn to page 3 and look at the Product Guide to locate which farms sell them and then turn to Page 5/6 to locate that farm and find the farm descriptions for more information. • If you want to locate farms in your neighborhood, select a farm number from the map on Page 4 and then read the farm description to learn specific information about that farm. • To locate a Farmers Market near you, turn to Page 3 for the Farmers Markets section or look on the map for the FM symbol. • Want to know what’s in season now? Turn to Page 7 and look at the In Season Guide. We ask that you do NOT use this as a sight-seeing guide. Please respect business hours and call ahead to make appointments. Farmers are busy folks, but encourage serious inquiries and will happily accommodate your requests.
