Southern Season Announces New Store in Atlanta
Chapel Hill, N.C., August 17, 2015 — Southern Season (www.southernseason.com) is pleased to announce plans to
open in Atlanta in early 2016. The 25,000+ square foot store will be located in Buckhead at Powers Ferry Square
(http://www.regencycenters.com/retail-space/ga/atlanta/powers-ferry-square#.VczOjU2FP3g) at the
intersection of Powers Ferry Rd. NE and Roswell Rd. NE. Powers Ferry Square is owned and managed by the
Regency Centers.
Clay Hamner, Chairman of Southern Season, stated “We are excited to bring the Southern Season experience to
Buckhead and the greater Atlanta market. We look forward to offering the full culinary experience our customers
have grown to love.”
The store will be one of the world’s largest specialty gourmet food and entertaining gift stores with a vast selection
of local and international gourmet products, a full-service restaurant, extensive wine selection, a cooking school, a
large coffee and tea selection, fresh flowers, hard to find grocery items from the south and around the world, a
large chocolate and candy department and an extensive bakery, deli and cheese department. This store will be the
fifth Southern Season store and will be modeled after its award winning North Carolina flagship store located in
Chapel Hill. Other locations are in Raleigh, Charleston, and Richmond, and new stores are being planned for
Charlotte, Nashville, and Birmingham.
