This terms news
This is the first time the BRYNMILLION news has
been on this magazine so here are some things that
have been going on in school this term .
Mrs Jenkins brought
her baby boy into
school on the 2nd of
October and his name
is Thomas Morgan
Jenkins. He was so
cute. They are both
really well.
We had three theatre
actors come in who did a
play about road safety.
It was GREAT and I
think that everyone
learned at least one new
thing from that show
about keeping safe on the
road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BONJOUR!
We are now having
FRENCH classes on a
Thursday after
school!!!!!
The school Netball team
played their first 3
matches on Wednesday
1 0th of November
and they WON all three
games!
The first game was
against Brynhyfryd and
the score was 2-0.
Their second game was
against St Thomas and
the score was 3-0. Their
last game was against
Dan-y-Graig and the score
was 6-0.
There were more
Net ball matches on the
1 8th of November.
Their first match was a
draw 2-2 against
Hafod.The second
match was Brynmill
against Celnglas and of
course we won because
we are the best! It
was 4-0!!!!!

There were even more
netball gmes on
November the 24th,
the score was 1 -0 to
ST.Thomas. The next
match was on the 1 st
December it was
against ST.Illtyds and
we won 1 -3!!!!!

The chistmas plays are
on: Nursery's and
reception's play is on
Monday 1 3th of
December at 9:1 5am and
1 :30pm.
Year 1 /2 is on Tuesday
7th December at 9:30am
and 5:30pm.
Year 3/4 is on
Wednesday 8th
December at 1 .30pm and
6pm.
Year 5/6 is on Thursday
9 th December at 1 .30pm
and 6pm.
THE terrifying INSPECTION
Hello, this is Freya and Mia reporting! As you may remember, this term we
were visited by THE INSPECTORS!!!! This is what the children in Brynmill
thought about the inspection.
'I felt the teachers were getting stressed because they were working so hard.
It is a weird thing when strangers write down every single little thing.' by
Esma.
'Well I think that when the inspectors came to our school everyone was
worried, especially the teachers.' declared Cai.
"Once an inspector sat next to me in guided reading. It was quite scary, he
didn't say anything really except, 'I believe it's your turn.' He didn't stay
long." by Mia.
Joe said, 'When we were having a lesson with the inspectors, they sat down
taking notes most of the time . I felt a bit nervous when an inspector came
into my class!'
'A few of them were asking children if they enjoyed school or they asked us
what we were doing. They stayed in school until six o'clock every night.
Everyone was on their best behaviour and everyone was polite and helpful.'

ANTI BULLYING
The whole school experienced tips on how to deal with bullying. We all know
how to cope with bullying now. This year's slogan is 'Taking action together'.
Here are 5 tips for dealing with bullying;
1 } If you are being bullied tell an adult.
2} If you see someone being bullied don't keep
it all to yourself 'TELL'!!!!!!!!!
3} Try to stand up to the bully
4} Stay with someone you trust!
5} If you see someone being bullied don't stand there!
