Concept Design Report
Background
This house contains five rooms: a family room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and a bedroom.
The house includes ten windows and two exterior doors. The house contains furniture such as
couches, TVs, a fireplace, sinks, a toilet, tables, chairs, beds, etc.. All components of the house
including, walls, roof, door, windows, etc. are coordinated by style, texture, and color. The house
includes a sidewalk and a driveway leading to the outdoor garage.
Design Concept
This is a one floor house made for two people who are unable to use stairs. It is a simple but
beautiful house with a great, modern backyard. The exterior of the house is sandstone ashlar light
bricks and have shingles GAF estates roofing. The house is located on a suburban street of
Suffern, NY because Suffern is a fun and safe place to live.
Components of the Project
At least 5 rooms (e.g., family room, kitchen, bathroom(s), bedroom(s), dining room, etc.)1 or a
large great room which combines the specific functions of several of the more traditional room
spaces. Include in the house at least six windows and two exterior doors.
 Furniture, such as beds, sinks, dressers, couches, tables, chairs, TVs, etc. The more you
include the better.
 All components of my house, including walls, roof, doors, windows, etc. must be coordinated
by style, texture and color.
 A lawn and scaled shrubs that completely surrounds the house.
 At least three different type trees/shrubs in the yard.
 An exterior patio, pool, Jacuzzi, play area, etc.
 A sidewalk & driveway
 A really cool something unusual or unique, but appropriate, in the design.

View 1: Front view of the house. Shows its layout and shape. There is a sidewalk leading up to
the front door for convenience. There is an outdoor garage at the end of the driveway that holds
up to two cars. It has bushes in front and a large backyard with a lot of greenery. This house is a
great size.
View 2: This is a side view of the house. This allows you to view the shape of the house from the
left side. It is a very spacious house. You can see the beautiful large pool, cabana and the garden
with trees surrounding them. This is a great backyard to hang out in and have family gathering.
View 3: This is a view of the backyard of the house. It includes a state of the art pool with a lazy
river and hot tub, a beautiful small garden, and a relaxing cabana with couches and a great
barbeque. Your backyard will be a place everyone wants to be this summer.

View 4: This interior view allows you to see the layout of the interior view of the house. It
contains a huge family room, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a bedroom. Every room
has easy access and there is no hassle to get to it. In the family room there is so much room for
activities and you can see the TV and one of the two couches. In the kitchen you can see the
refrigerator, oven, microwave cupboards.
View 5: This view shows the bathroom and parts of the family room and kitchen. The bathroom
includes a toilet and a sink. From this view you can see that the family room includes two big
couches and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is great and you can see the cabinets, kitchen table,
countertop, and chandelier.
View 6: This view lets you see into the dining room and bedroom. The dining room has a door
that allows you to go out to the luxurious backyard and a great dining room table that can fit the
whole family. The bedroom is very big which is great and includes a comfy king sized bed and a
dresser. You can also see that the kitchen includes a sink and dishwater as well.
