THE FIRST ANNUAL
LEGACY OF A LIFETIME AWARDS
oin us as we commemorate a lifetime of contributions by Patricia Martin
through the First Annual Legacy of a Lifetime Celebration. During a long and
illustrious career that earned her a spot in the Advertising Hall of Fame, Pat was
immersed in many aspects of the advertising industry
from copywriter to sales trainer. Agency principal to
American Advertising Federation chair. One of the very
first women to break into the advertising industry, her
istrict
most important role was that of pioneer. When women were first
being hired as product managers, it was Pat who was their champion
and mentor. Pat would go on to become the first female chair of the
American Advertising Federation, a position that showcased her leadership skills.

Pat may no longer
be with us physically.
But her spirit lives on.
As do her amazing
accomplishments.
And they will be
memorialized through four new
Legacy of a Lifetime awards for
creativity, diversity, education, and
leadership.
Event sponsorships provide a
great opportunity to pay homage
to an advertising legend and honor
the recipients of the first annual
Legacy of a Lifetime Awards. Like
Pat, our esteemed honorees have
had an enormous impact on the
advertising industry. And for that,
we are most grateful.
We look forward to seeing you at
the very first Legacy of a Lifetime
Celebration, and sincerely
appreciate your financial support.

on to lead Bozell Worldwide as President and CEO
before becoming CEO and Chairman at True North

LEGACY OF A LIFETIME
Since co-founding AAR North America in 1980,
Leslie personally conducted over 1,500 successful
agency searches, earning the nickname of
“Madison Avenue Matchmaker.” While running
her own business, Leslie has still found time to
be heavily involved in District 2, AAF. In fact, she
has chaired the National Student Advertising
Competition for the past three decades. Which
could very well entitle her to another moniker –
“Dean of Student Advertising”.
