First Annual “Brees Topgolf Challenge”
Benefitting Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas
Event to be held June 28, 2015
AUSTIN, Texas (May 28, 2015) – Super Bowl champion and Austinite Drew Brees today
announced that The Brees Dream Foundation is teaming up with Topgolf® on a June 28
fundraiser benefitting Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.
“Austin is my hometown, and Brittany and I have wanted to find a way to get involved and give
back,” said Brees. “Through the partnership with Topgolf, The Brees Dream Foundation can
host a fun and impactful event to help children who have been victims of violent crime. Dell
Children’s provides outstanding care for these kids but sadly their needs are growing. We are
proud to partner with Topgolf and Dell Children’s Medical Center to help these children find the
path to recovery from abuse.”
The fundraiser will take place at Topgolf Austin on Sunday, June 28 at 11 a.m. Participants will
enter as a team of up to 10 people and will enjoy an afternoon of golf, competitive games,
great food and much more fun and entertainment, including a silent auction. Guests will also
have the opportunity to challenge Drew in several on-site games and have photos taken with
the football star. Everyone in the community can participate by attending or simply purchasing
a Vegas Competition ticket for $100. For the Vegas Competition winner, Topgolf has donated
an all-expenses paid trip for four to the grand opening of Topgolf Las Vegas. Information and

The Brees Dream Foundation was founded in 2003 by Drew and Brittany Brees and is
committed to improving the quality of life for cancer patients and providing care, education and
opportunities for children and families in need. Topgolf, a golf entertainment venue that

Dell Children’s is the center of a wheel that extends across 46 counties in Central Texas. Young victims
of child abuse often enter our world through the Emergency Room doors but not always. We serve as
the primary resource for law enforcement, Center for Child Protection, Children’s Protective Services
