Jellybean Subtraction
Objective:
Subtraction with regrouping
1. Select a jellybean from the tub/basket.
2. Open the jellybean and read the subtraction
problem.
3. Record the subtraction problem in one of the boxes located on the
Jellybean Subtraction recording sheet. Be sure to use your knowledge
of place value when recording the numbers.
4. Solve the subtraction problem. Be sure to use addition to check your work.
5. Continue this procedure until you have practice eight (8) subtraction
problems.
6. Don’t forget to answer the question at the bottom of the recording sheet.
