Dirk Hill is out “interim” Pastor while our newly elected Pastor, Bro. Glenn Cleveland is undergoing a 9-month training in Louisiana. He will be able to possibly move here to Fayetteville and be our full-time Pastor sometime during summer of 2012. Please pray for BDF during this transition time. Cathy Varner asked that we pray for her granddaughter, Tacoma who had 3 stitches near her eye. 3. Pray for Donald and Cammy Lynch who has been ill; Donald had Bronchitis and Cammy has an ear infection. 4. Winford Taylor asked that we pray his family to be reconciled with God. 1. Sunday, December 4, 2011 - “Hanging of the Greens” Christmas program at 2 pm during worship. 5. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 – BDF Business meeting at 7 p.m. 6. Friday, December 9, 2011 - Holiday Open House at Sources, Inc., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 7. Saturday, December 10, 2011 - NWAAD Christmas Party. 8. Sunday, January 1, 2012 – Bro. Glenn Cleveland will be here. All of our services are in American Sign Language. Services are voice interpreted for the hearing population. BDF Churchwide Thanksgiving Program: TODAY'S PRAYER: Father, may all good things that I do and the way that I live each day bring you honor and praise. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Bro. Glenn We had a good turnout of 26 last Sun at our Thanksgiving churchwide dinner and program. It was good to see Monty Duncan, Brian Scott, Donald and Cammy Lynch after a long time. Bro. Dirk gave a sermon about "Thank Him" from Philppians 4:6-7. He challenged us to 1) Pray; 2) Ask; and 3) Give thanks. Please continue to pray for Bro. Mid-Week News: Last Wednesday, November 23rd BDF was closed for the Thanksgiving holidays. We hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday with their family and friends. Next Wednesday, November 30th we will have our Bible study at 7 p.m. We will be studying "Experiencing God" by Henry Blackby. BDF Movie Night News: We had a turnout of 10 at our movie night. We watching a movie called "The Shunning". It was an awesome movie and we want to thank Jared Armer for bring the popcorn and cokes. Devotion from Bro. If not only our best achievements but also our everyday lives mean that our Father is praised, then we have succeeded in life! more often than any other holiday movie. 6. The most famous Christmas ballet is "The Nutcracker". 7. The song "Jingle Bells" was first written for Thanksgiving but become popular around Christmas time.
