Grade 2Ts Newsletter
We spent a week focussing on estimating and weighing potatoes. We gathered data about
whether we preferred mashed potatoes, chips, potatoes in jackets or potato chips. We then
created ‘Potato People and wrote a character profile to celebrate our achievements in learning
lots of fabulous mathematical language.
Hi, my name is Lilly. I loved decorating the
potato. I like to play outside with my
friends. My friends names are Olivia and
Sharleah. I am 8 years old. I watch scary
movies. I love to go to school.
