The contest is open to all K-12 students in the Caesar Rodney School District. 1. 2. 3. 4. Kindergarten (poster contest) Elementary school students (grades 1-3 and 4-5) Middle school students (grades 6-8) High school students (grades 9-12) Prizes: District level winners shall receive -certificates -medals -$50.00 savings bond for top winner in each category and a keepsake book of all of the winning submissions Guidelines: *No student names should appear on the essay. Attach the entry form to the essay with a paperclip. *Elementary essays should be between 300-400 words. *Middle and high school essays should be between 400-600 words. *Entries may be typed or neatly handwritten. *All essays must be original work. *The competition opens October 18, 2016, and will close on October 28, 2016. All entries must be received prior to this date and time in order to be considered. Finalists will be notified in writing and will be asked to attend the Rider Pride Day on Nov 4th to read their essay.
