As simple as it is, the pebble and ripple image is profound. Picture it again.
Can you see that small, single stone tossed on the pool,
followed by ripples that extend all the way to land?
That’s a big impact for a little rock.
You and I are the pebble, and the community and church are the water.
We may not think we count for much in the wider world, but when we
throw ourselves into it, our words, actions, money, and presence can have a BIG IMPACT.
“I’m just little old me. Nothing I do matters.”
How often have you heard that? How often have you said it?
It’s just not true. We all matter.
Every word we say matters.
Every action we do matters.
Every dollar we give matters.
Every time we show up matters.
Every prayer we pray matters.
And when your pebble gets added with the next person’s pebble, and so on,
our individual ripples can become a wave.
The Annual Stewardship Campaign needs your pebbles if the ripples of God’s love are to
extend to our community and world through Palmetto.
Our Capital Campaign goal is $1 million. That’s a lot of pebbles, and each one you throw in
