Here at NorthRidge Church, we always love to find talented volunteers who are willing to use their gifts to glorify God. However, we do require that all potential actors go through an audition process. This consists of participating in dialogue work with another actor, improvisation exercises, as well as interaction with other actors. To audition: 1. Come to audition Sun. Sept. 18thth from 1:30‐4p, held in the Auditorium. 2. Please be on time (that means you are there before we begin). 3. Come dressed to move (no tight clothes, short shorts, dresses, etc.) 4. Complete pages 2‐4 of the packet and turn them in at the time of your audition (keep the rest for your personal reference). 5. You must fulfill the age requirement: 3rd grade and up. Unless you and your parent both get cast, then 4 years old and up acceptable. 6. Children under the age of 12 must have a parent in cast with them to be cast in Act2. This includes appropriate language and conversation topics. I will clean up after myself and be respectful of the church property/props and costumes. I am prepared to rent a biblical costume if I am cast in the biblical scenes, this includes taking costume home to clean. It will then be returned. ($25) Character costumes are provided. I will arrive on time for rehearsals. 5 minutes early is ON TIME. If I will be late, I will notify my scene director. I will attend all assigned rehearsals and come with a professional attitude. I will uphold the Drama Team dress code (no tank tops, low cut tops, tight pants, or shorts above the knee) during all rehearsals. I will come prepared for all rehearsals. This includes bringing things to do as I wait for my time to rehearse. I will stay in assigned areas during rehearsals and performances. I will treat all props, costumes and personal items with respect. If it is not my prop/costume, I will not touch it. I will return all props and will pick up all costume pieces from the building before I go home. Any costume/prop that needs repair will be taken to the proper area for that repair. I will NEVER be in costume in public areas. I know that this is not professional behavior. I understand that if any of the above rules are consistently violated, it may result in me having to leave the team. I understand that my behavior may affect my future and current participation opportunities at NorthRidge Church.
