requirement for students wishing to study the Senior

complex recipes and further in-depth study.

NATURAL HEALTHCARE COURSE

A highly recommended certificate course for further

have been composed by Malcolm K. Harker M.H.D.,
and endorsed by Dr. Janice-Ann Priest, Director of
Herbal Education Centre NZ (under Herbal Ltd). Dr.
Priest DSc., Kn., N.C., Dip. Herb, Cert. C.N.H.P.,
Author, is a consultant in all areas of nutritional
and natural healthcare, lecturing in modalities
such as nutrition, medical herbalism (including
Maori herbalism), homeopathy, iridology, reflexology
and homeobotannicals, as well as wholistic subjects.

due to serious ill health, from which,
through his own concerted efforts, he fully recovered.
Primary Certificate and

In 1983 he acquired the Diploma in Herbal Studies and
in the same year received the ‘Certificate in Iridology’
through the teaching of Dr. Maurice Archer N.D., protégé
of renown American Iridologist Dr. Bernard Jensen.
In 1985 Malcolm earned his Master of Herbology Degree
in Advanced Herbal Medicine with Honours from the
Emerson College of Herbology, Quebec, Canada.
During eleven years of running his Herbal Healing Clinic
in Avondale, Auckland, he developed the present range
of over 83 herbal remedies and cosmetic products, sold
throughout the natural health retail market, and which are
today increasingly popular throughout New Zealand.
In 1998 Malcolm was awarded a ’Lifetime Achievement
Award’ by the New Zealand Natural Health Industry,
and the same year published his book ‘Health &
Healing’, now into its 4th edition print.
Today he continues to manufacture for Harker
Herbal Products Ltd, and also maintains his
active correspondence consultation service.
Malcolm produced the herbal courses as a
means to carry knowledge, work and art of
Traditional Medical Herbalists into the future.
As author of the courses he is the Tutor,
and will examine all completed lessons,
endorsing Certification for all Students
deemed to have successfully passed the Herbal courses.
