Kings Park: Royal Freestyle on 2 Kilometers Length!
With a breath of fresh air and some big news the Kings Park opens it gates once again on
the magnificent Hochkönig! Last season was more than successful and this year the park
is getting even bigger: The KINGS PARK will be extended by two new sections. All
Shredheads can look forward to exploring a wide range of new obstacles. This season, the
biggest European snowboard label QParks, sounds the bell for a new era: High-quality
freestyle-fun is waiting for you – on a length of 2 kilometers!
Long, Longer, Kings Park
The Kings Park spreads out almost as long as the 8-men gondola “Kings Cab” with a total length of
incredible 1.8 km of pure freestyle. This leaves Chief QParkdesigner Bernd Mandlberger and his crew
infinite potential to release their creativity and shape the park. What that means? From now on you
can shred the whole park without losing precious time on the slopes. After a riding session, the “Kings
Cab” gondola is the perfect spot to chill out and recover while going up the mountain before doing it
all over again!
But there’s more to come. A lot of new obstacles promise an exciting season: The modular railelements offer more flexibility, the new Industry Kinked Rail with a diameter of 25 cm and a length of
7 m will especially challenge advanced riders. Another new element that we’d like to welcome to the
park family is the Industry Cannon Rail, which is awesome for funny jib sessions! Of course there’s
also cool stuff for kicker freaks. Loads of jumps with tables between 5-13 m will give you airtime
deluxe. On the whole, the park’s vast variety, creative lines and a huge range of kickers, boxes and
rails are sure to impress you. With a total of 49 elements, riders on all skill levels will find their
challenges. The Kings Park will shine in new splendor and become the perfect place to be for all
freestyle-maniacs.
Feel the freedom
With 150 km of perfectly prepared slopes and 33 lifts, the ski area Hochkönig offers pure winter
pleasure to all skiers and snowboarders. In the vast, extensive area of the Hochkönig you can inhale
the freedom of the mountains and it’s the best spot to enjoy the “white gold”. You will not only find
perfect slopes, there are also amazingly rambling powder runs waiting to be explored. Throw yourself
into the powder and enjoy the pure backcountry pleasure of the area: the Hochkönig welcomes
passionate freeriders with a lot of snow, high-class lines and exquisite cliff drops.
If you’re looking to chill out after a perfect skiing day, there are lots of cosy, inviting huts. If you’re a
party animal, you should definitely check out the “Hexenhäusl” or the typically Austrian après ski bar
at the skistation Fellersbach. There’s no better way to finish a nice day on the mountain than with
good vibes and nice people.
Kings Park Goes Online
Here we are! The Kings has its very own website! On the new Kings Park site, you will find all

Perfect slopes, nice vibes, plenty of powder runs and a tremendous playground for all
