for Tervis Tumbler wins Best of Show
Atlanta, GA – Design Group’s showroom design and buildout for Tervis Tumbler was
honored for outstanding visual display at the July International Gift and Home Furnishings
Market at the Atlanta AmericasMart. Tervis Tumbler showroom occupied a 1900 sq. ft.
space in Building 2. This is the 6th time that Design Group’s showroom designs and buildouts
have been the recipient of Best of Show in the last 2 years.
During the July market, more than 2000 showrooms were judged on their creative efforts,
including use of space, product display and placement, signage, flooring, and lighting. The
judges focused on visual design showcasing product in an artistic and eye-catching display.
Winners were selected by an independent panel of experts with decades of combined
industry experience.
Design Group worked closely with Kim Livengood, Marketing Manager for Tervis Tumbler, to
create an exciting showroom that creatively displayed their product. “Kim’s dedication to the
company and desire to make the outcome perfect were refreshing and the positive outcome
is evident in the showroom,” says Tricia Dimon, President of Design Group. "We are happy
to now begin work on their Dallas showroom as well as retail displays for around the
country".

Tervis began making their treasured insulated tumblers in 1946 and the company has been
growing strong ever since. The company defied the recession by doubling its sales every
year since the beginning of the recession. Today it continues to be operated by the family as
a private entity and employs more than 325 people in its manufacturing facility in North
Venice, Florida.
