We couldn’t be more excited to host our 2nd Annual March Break Camp. It’s hard to believe
that 2015 is just around the corner. Under the leadership of our Program Director, Kelly Allaire,
your friends at King Day Camp have been working hard to plan another successful March
Break Camp program! Registration for our March Break Camp is now live from the
home page of the King Day Camp website. The Seneca Outdoor Education Centre is a
special place for children to learn new skills, make new friends and take risks in a supportive
environment. I’m so thankful for the great team of staff I work with all year round and for
their incredible commitment to our programs in every season. On behalf of Kelly Allaire
(Programming), Tim Beckner (Operations), Vicky Xu (Administration) and myself we
thank you for supporting our programs and hope to see you this March!

NEW 2015
Kelly Allaire, Program Director has created
two distinct March Break Programs based
on camper age, which are geared to meet the
varying needs of our campers. Campers age
5-10 will be part of the SNOW-VENTURE
PROGRAM and campers age 11-14 will be
part of the TRAILBLAZERS PROGRAM.
The new, age-differentiated programs will
ensure our campers are being challenged
by the activities they participate in.

SIGN OUT AUTHORIZATION
SUN SMART
During afternoon pick-up, parents/guardians
MUST sign their campers out. The camp
has already received the list of “Authorized
Adults”. Individuals picking children up from
camp must present photo identification to
match the name on our list . Otherwise your
child will not be released until the Camp
Office has contacted the Primary Contact to
receive authorization. Please remember to
bring photo ID every day. Seneca prides itself
on its safety policies and procedures, please
do not ask our camp staff to allow you to
pick up your child without showing them
your ID. To add someone to your campers
authorization list after the time of registration,
please contact the Camp Office.
All campers are asked to bring sunscreen to
March Break Camp. Don’t forget the reflection
of the sun off snow can be very strong. Staff
members will assist campers in applying
sunscreen before outdoor activities.
Please refer to the parent handbook
for more in-depth and additional
information, including a list of what to
pack each day in order to enjoy the day.
Don’t forget registration
for King Day Camp
opens February 11th, 2015.
