Set a date for your Practice Show Goal is to have your practice show within 3 days from your
training show. This show will be considered a Mystery Hostess show which means one of the guest
there will win the FREE jewelry at the end. Talk to your sponsor for more details

Create Invitation to your Training Show Discuss with your sponsor WHO to invite and HOW to
invite (Red Stamp / Text / Email options)
Aim for 50 invitations or more for your Training Show. It sounds like a lot, but invite EVERYONE – no
one is ever insulted with an invite. 1 out of 4 people invited will be able to make it! Don’t forget all
your friends, family, co-workers significant other’s friends and family, your acquaintances through
your children. The more the better!

would LOVE for you to join me at my home for a FUN & FABULOUS time of jewelry, food and prizes!

Introductory Letters
Start calling friends & family to get bookings on calendar and get Advance Orders for your
training show. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR TRAINING SHOW TO START BOOKING!
GOALS:
Book/Hold 6 shows within 45 days from your Training Show!
Book/Hold an additional 3 shows 60 days from your Training Show!
Book/Hold an additional 3 shows 90 days from your Training Show!
You must complete Quick Start 6 in order to achieve Quick Start 9 and you must achieve Quick Start
6 & 9 to complete Quick Start 12! Be sure to check out your “Track to Success” guide that will come
in your New Jeweler Kit.

Invite People to Your Practice Show
When people RSVP no to your training show, invite them to your Practice Show. This is what you’ll
say, “That’s no problem! I am having a practice show on _____. I’d love for you to come over so I
have some people to practice my new business on. I’m also giving away ALL the FREE jewelry that
day to a lucky guest. Can you come?
GOAL… Get at least $100 in advance sales!
When someone RSVPs that they cannot make it to your training show, be sure to ask them if they
would like to look at the catalog and place an order.
Make Reminder Calls
2-3 days before your training show, call EVERYONE you’ve invited. A good excuse to call is to remind
everyone to wear a solid color shirt, since it makes it easier to try on the jewelry & see how
beautiful it is! Everyone appreciates a reminder and it will sometimes increase your attendance by
50%!!!
Keep food & drink simple!
You do not want people paying more attention to the food than to the jewelry!
Have Notepaper & Pen ready to take NOTES during the training show presentation. You may
even want to VIDEO ME so you have something to refer back to!
WHEN YOUR JEWELRY BOUTIQUE & SUPPLIES FROM PREMIER ARRIVES!
Call your sponsor and let her know!
TAG your jewelry
Put price labels on jewelry tags and on back of earring cards. No need to label rings Place jewelry in
trays provided by Premier (DO NOT throw away the boxes!) Be sure you change all of the earring
holders to the more professional (plastic) ones given in your Boutique. To label earrings, stick the
label on the BACK of the earring card.
Put together at least 6 Hostess Packets for your training show
Place the following inside each Hostess Envelope (large envelopes):

Also put together 15-20 Curiosity Packets

Try different jewelry combinations as you play in your jewelry & practice setting up your display.
You will want to use the fabric, jewelry trays & picture inside your Premier Boutique to arrange your
display PRIOR to your Premier Mom arriving for your training show.

Put labels on back of catalogs and on your order forms (ordering a stamp is a great idea for this)

Set up your credit card processing account
Premier partners with Propay and you can find details on the Premier Jewelers Only webpage.
Another service available if you have a SMART Phone, is www.SquareUp.com (FREE APP and
Scanner), also talk with your sponsor for other ideas. Even though you lose 2.95% of the sale when
using a credit card, statistics show that people buy more if they can charge their order and many
only travel with debit/credit cards. You should sign up BEFORE your training show if you plan to
accept credit cards.
Set up a separate checking account for your Premier business
You do not need a business account (most banks charge extra for that). A personal checking account
is perfect!
THINGS TO DO AFTER YOUR TRAINING SHOW
Collect the rest of your orders & set a date with your Sponsor to submit your training show
online
Fill out the Training Show Verification
After you submit your training show order, you MUST fill out a quick survey (takes less than a
minute!). To find the survey, log into your Premier Account and go to My Account/Contracts &
Renewal/Training Show Verification
READ all brochures & materials from your new jeweler kit as well as Andy Horner’s book, By
Chance or By Design. This will really help you in understanding more about Premier and our
heritage.
Continue training by going to Premier’s website and looking for the video and audio trainings. The
Terrells and Drapers also have excellent web sites with great tools for your business
Hold a MOCK SHOW for your Premier Mom
Continue working on your QuickStart 6, 9, 12 as well as holding a total of 25 jewelry shows in your
1st 180 days! Use your Track to Success brochure to track your success and help you goal set. The
Awards Section of the Premier website will also help you with this.
CALL Your Premier Sponsor and stay in close contact, especially after your first 12 shows. She
wants to help you!!
Schedule an Opportunity Presentation with your sponsor and invite some friends to hear
about what you’re doing.
QUICK START Shows & BEYOND…
Fill out a Hostess Information Form for each hostess and follow the checklist (see website
www.howmayiserveyou.com Hostess Coaching / Organizational Items for samples)
Set dates on your calendar to Hostess Coach upcoming hostesses – coaching is the KEY to keeping
shows on your calendar. Work with your sponsor for a successful coaching system
Make sure to keep track on calendar WHEN INVITES NEED TO GO OUT (whether you do them or
your hostess). This is one of the biggest reasons a hostesses cancels is she never got her invites out!
Use a Closing Out Your Jewelry Show sheet with each hostess so she knows where she is with
sales at her show and what she needs to collect before closing her show

value for her dollar and to INCREASE YOUR CV (a lot of Premier Contests depend on high CV)

Premier will send you an email when jewelry is shipping to your hostess. Be sure you forward that
email to her so she knows what to expect or call/text her to keep her excited about her jewelry
arriving!
Follow up with hostesses & customers regarding their purchases to say THANK YOU! Excellent
customer service sets you apart from others!

Replacement & Exchanges - Occasionally you will be given broken jewelry at a jewelry show or
receive a call from a customer who may want to exchange an item she received. There is a quick
and easy process to handle this whether at a show or working from your home. Go to the website

Exchanges. Everything you need to make this an easy, no big deal process is there for you!

see all emails from Premier (these will also come into the email box that you gave Premier in your
paperwork when you signed up). You can also find out more info about the Jewelers Reward Card,

(address, phone number, email) where it says Account Preferences
Ordering / Products -This is where you will place all your orders (for shows, individual orders, etc),
returns/exchanges / Serve Us Store (more details below on that)

Serve Us Store on Premier Website
Go to Ordering/Products then Place an Order and you’ll see Serve Us Store. The first thing you’ll
want to order more of is Catalogs Item #9832 ($16/dozen) You will receive 1 dozen with your initial
business supplies from Premier, but you’ll want to order at least 1 or 2 dozen more as you will be
giving 1-2 catalogs to each new Hostess that schedules a show with you.
Hostess Planner Packets Item #995 ($4 for a set of 10) are also good to have on hand so you can
make up additional hostess packets.
Customer Receipts Item #107(pkg of 50 for $3.50). You’ll want more of these on hand as you are
working through your Quick Start.
You will want to order a couple more sets of Opportunity Brochures Item #130 ($2 for a set of 10).
You’ll be including these with each Hostess Packet and giving them to guests who are curious in
hearing more about Premier
Even though you are new, you will want to share the great benefits of our business opportunity
with EVERYONE you can. Sponsoring is the way to build your business and make a lot more $$$. You
can only retail so much by yourself. Work SMART, not HARD. Smart means build a business under
you & train your jewelers to do what you are doing. At a minimum, hand out the Opportunity
Brochures – But also order the Marketing Plan Presentation Brochure Item #423 (pkg of 12 for $5)
to have a full brochure you can leave with ladies after they listen to the opportunity.
If you did not purchase a Premier Boutique, you may want to purchase a Ring Sizer and the soft
sided Jewelry Case with 4 jewelry trays (trays sold separately).
Premier Incentives is a partner with Premier. You can use this site to purchase items for
giveaway’s and promotions. There are also great business tools like business cards, hostess
incentive gifts, jewelry display items and tools. Shipping is FREE when your purchase is $50.00 or
more www.premierdesignsincentives.com
You can also go to your local DOLLAR STORE or TARGET’s $1 section or other websites for cute giveaways. Browse around and see what’s available. BE CAREFUL! Even though you can purchase items
for very little cost, in the beginning you want to concentrate on paying off your initial investment
first.
Hood & House – a software to help manage your customer/hostess database, submit orders, run
reports and track expenses. Hood & House is a partner with Premier and a highly recommended
software for you to add to your business. You can enter all your orders on the Premier website for
free, however that data is NOT saved and you have no way to access the info after the show. With
Hood & House, you pay $99 for the software and $49/year for updates & support. It’s AMAZING and
will help you run a successful business. They have great video tutorials. There is a TRIAL software
you can download for no cost to see what you think about it. You can enter information into it, but
it will not transmit an order until you purchase the software.

NEW JEWELER BOOKING VERBIAGE
“Hi ___________ it’s (YOUR NAME), do you have a second? I won’t keep you long, but I am
actually calling to ask you for a HUGE favor. (PAUSE) I am starting a jewelry business with Premier
Designs (TELL WHY). Here is my favor… I need 2 friends who could let me come over, set my
jewelry out on their kitchen table and invite a few friends over to play in the jewelry. It doesn’t
have to be a big deal, just you and a few friends. I can give you some jewelry just for helping me
out…what do you think?”
*IF SHE SAYS YES, continue with this… “Oh Wow, thank you so much __________!! I really
appreciate it. Ok, the first 2 dates on my calendar I really need to fill are… __________ and
__________. Could you look at those dates and see if either would work for you?” (Friday, great!!
That is a great night to have some friends over!)
*GET THE DATE PENCILED IN…If she says she needs to “look” first and she doesn’t have her
calendar in front of her SAY, “Can I just pencil you in on one of those dates and when you get a
chance to look at your calendar you can call you back and if that date doesn’t work I will gladly
work with you to find another one because I really appreciate you helping me?”
*IF SHE SAYS NO, You say this… “ Oh __________ that’s ok! I totally understand! There is another
way you might be able to help me out though. I am hosting a Launch Party on ________________
and I would love it if you could maybe come and bring someone with you.
*IF NO ONE ANSWERS--- Leave this message!!! “Hi ______ it’s YOUR NAME (do NOT say with
Premier Designs!!) I was calling to ask you for a quick favor. When you get a chance could you call
me back at _________? It’s not a big deal…just a quick favor. Thanks!” Their curiosity will get the
best of them and when they call you back use the above script as normal.
OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS
“I’M JUST TOO BUSY!” (Response): “Mary, tell me what’s keeping you so busy?!” (Listen for answer and
respond accordingly). “Well that sounds very exciting and I can understand the busyness of your schedule!
When does soccer season end? May? Well, Mary, why don’t we get you through the busyness of soccer
season and schedule a fun show during the summer months before your children head back to school? I
have a few dates available in June or July! Would either of those months work for you? One of the services I
offer to my hostesses is that I will mail all your invitations to your friends to help us have a fun, no pressure
night out!”
“I DON’T KNOW ENOUGH PEOPLE!” (Response): “It doesn’t take a lot of people to have a great show! A
few friends is all we’ll need! We can even encourage each of your friends to bring along a guest, and before
you know it...your three friends will turn to six and we can still have a great show!”
“MY HOME IS TOO SMALL!” (Response): “Mary, we don’t need much room to display jewelry and have
warm fellowship with your friends! Some of my best shows have happened in smaller spaces-besides, I
would love to get to know you and your friends! Ladies seem to be more relaxed and enjoy themselves
more when they are in a small room! Often I’ve found that the smaller the room, the more energy and
excitement it creates!”
“THE LAST TIME I DID A SHOW....NO ONE CAME!” (Response): “That has also happened to me! I’m
sorry it has happened to you! It probably was just a bad date. We could try again! I know that together we
could have a great show! I will help you with your guest list!
“I DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY AND ALL MY FRIENDS ARE BROKE!!!” (Response): “That actually is the
best reason I know of to have a show! Remember, our hostess plan is going to help you get free jewelry!
My average hostess earns $150 in free jewelry! We have over 200 items in our jewelry line under $25!
There will be no pressure to buy. Perhaps one of your friends will be interested in getting free jewelry by
booking a show from your show.
“EVERYONE I KNOW IS HERE TONIGHT!!!” (Response): “That’s ok! They had a great time tonight and no
one was able to buy all that they wanted! Most of them know what they’d like to buy at the next show! We
can invite them again and we can think of others that weren’t able to make it tonight who we can add to
the guest list. People such as your family, friends and neighbors. How does that sound?”
“LET ME CHECK WITH MY FRIENDS AND SEE IF THEY WILL COME!” (Response): “That is great! But I
have found that it usually works better for us to pencil in a date. The more people you have involved in the
decision of when to do your show, the more complicated it gets! We’ll treat this as a baby shower! I’ll mail
the invitations and the ones who can come...will; and the ones who can’t come, can look at a catalogue and
help you with your advanced orders. Will you be inviting mostly church friends? People you work with?
Family? Or will you invite a variety of people?”
“I’LL THINK ABOUT IT AND LET YOU KNOW LATER!” (Response): “Great! I would love to do a show
with you!! However, I can be hard to reach, so would it be ok if I contacted you in a few days and see if we
could put you on the calendar and find a time that would work for the both of us?!” When would be the
best time for me to check back with you?”
“I DON’T REALLY WEAR JEWELRY (OR) I HAVE TOO MUCH JEWELRY!” (Response): “One of the great
reasons for holding a Premier show is so that you can use your free jewelry for gifts that you need to
purchase throughout the year! Mother’s Day is right around the corner!”
